Who we are
This website is run by Portfolio Precision Consulting, a web design and business systems company based in Sonoma County, California. You can reach us at portfolioprecisionconsulting@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Consultation form. The name, email address, phone number (if you give one), how you prefer to be contacted, business type, message and any package choices you send us.
- Automated assistant. The messages you type into the chat, and your email address or name if you choose to share them. We also keep basic technical details such as your IP address and the time of the conversation.
- Visit information. Simple, privacy-focused website statistics: which pages were viewed, where visitors came from, and general device, browser and location (such as country) information.
- Email. If you write to us or we write back, we keep that correspondence.
Please don't enter sensitive information (such as payment card, bank, health or government ID numbers) into the form or the chat. We don't need it.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and respond to your consultation request.
- To run, secure and improve this website and the assistant, including spotting the questions people ask most often.
- To prevent spam, abuse and fraud.
- To meet legal obligations.
The automated assistant
The chat on this site is an automated AI assistant, not a person. To write its replies, your chat messages are sent to a third-party AI service provider that processes them for us. We save chat conversations so we can follow up with you, review how the assistant is doing and improve it. A person at Portfolio Precision may read them.
Who we share it with
We use outside service providers to host this website, deliver form submissions and email, measure website statistics, and power the AI assistant. They may handle your information only to provide those services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with others for advertising.
Cookies and similar technology
We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our website statistics tool is designed to be privacy-friendly. Your browser may keep a small note for the length of your visit, for example to remember that you've already seen the chat greeting. Because we don't track you across other sites, our site behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions, chat conversations and correspondence for as long as we need them for the purposes above, or until you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email portfolioprecisionconsulting@gmail.com and tell us which chat or request is yours (the email address you used helps). If you're a California resident, you have these rights under California law, and we won't treat you differently for asking. You can also ask us to stop contacting you.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or storage system is completely secure.
Children
This website is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Links to other sites
This website may link to other sites, such as social media pages. We're not responsible for their privacy practices.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
